 | | Regeneration of South Moor and the surrounding area
Updated
22/8/2010
We cover South Moor, Quaking Houses, Eastfields, Westfields and Southfields as well as parts of Oxhill and New Kyo. Members are local people who care about local issues and their environment.
|
By working in conjunction with Service Providers, Local Authorities and similar like minded groups the Partnership aims to make South Moor:
 | | A better area to live in by providing improved housing, a cleaner environment, open spaces for all to enjoy and better access to transport. | | | | | | | An area for local people by creating a sense of one neighbourhood through a range of initiatives based around community involvement, health, arts, recreation and leisure. | | | | | | | An area for people to learn in by providing additional access to education and training for residents of all ages. | | | | | | | An area for work by encouraging and supporting new and existing businesses, community businesses and providing training for local people. | | | | | | | A safer area to live in by improving the safety of those who live in, work in and visit the area by supporting initiatives to reduce crime, the fear of crime, anti-social behaviour and drug abuse. |
